Health and Safety is our number one priority, we are wholly committed to promoting a positive health and safety culture within our staff as well as ensuring that all of our sites are safe working environments.
Innova is engaged in full compliance with all health and safety legislation. Our health and safety policy sets out a framework of how we continuously improve our approach to managing workplace safety, comply with relevant health and safety legislation and strive to work to industry best practice. Health & Safety: CDM 2015
When we act as a Principal Designer or and contractor during a project, we will ensure that we meet all requirements under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015. This includes planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating health and safety during both the pre-construction phase, and the construction phase (as applicable).
On-going health & safety is integrated into our processes by function and role and monitored by department heads. The best way to mitigate risk is by detailed site inspection and careful planning.
Innova’s external Health and Safety advisors assist with the on-site, monitoring and management of compliance by providing adequate and effective control of the Health and Safety risks related to our work activities, resources and equipment.
RIDDOR reportable incidents
As a result of our Health and Safety commitment, we have only had one RIDDOR reportable incident in the last 5 years.
Our site staff are CSCS or SMSTS certified and where we use the services of other specialist trades ie M&E Works, our experts hold valid certification as required.
