Wilkinson Star Limited New Showroom Facility to ‘WOW’ Customers

New Futuristic Showroom & Office Space to inspire clients  

Wilkinson Star was founded in 1983 and today is one of the UK’s leading importers and wholesale distributors of Industrial and welding equipment.

Wilkinson star’s aim is to provide unrivalled service and complete customer satisfaction.  All of their industry leading brands are supported by world class on site Welding Training/Demonstration Centre and Marketing Services facility.

The organisation’s technical expertise for product innovation and development is at the core of their Technical Support Centre and has been further enhanced with the addition of the Inverter Technology Centre in Manchester during 2015.

The Brief

In 2021 as part of their on-going development, Wilkinson Star planned to convert their underused facility with parking into state-of-the-art new client showroom and Meeting/Office area creating the perfect environment to communicate their brand proposition.

An interactive space to showcase the company’s products and services, a place to host meetings and provide valuable training,  an environment to inspire and engage existing and new customers, where they can try and test their products, a futuristic, experiential space with a ‘wow’ factor.

The overall plan was tailored to the client’s requirements and involved considerable new product development. Using contemporary materials, bespoke pieces of furniture were designed with inset LED lighting to provide the sizzle.

The Solution

Innova transformed the existing facility with the addition of a glazed meeting space, into state-of-the-art futuristic showroom hub, including electrics, lighting, plumbing, flooring, bespoke fitted furniture throughout and decoration.

The new showroom now features:

• Bespoke MDF circular pods and rafters laminated in perfect matt Dust Grey, integrated LED lights with solid surface mink worktops to showcase their products.
• Perimeter durable MDF laminate benching, with integrated lights and solid surface mink worktops.
• Rust effect lasered and painted LED light panels
• Upholstered seating around the perimeter

Whilst the glazed office space details a dust grey panelled feature wall, an elegant scape panelled ceiling, bespoke upholstered seating and breakout area.

The 21^st century showroom and office space will support Wilkinson Star to inform and inspire their clients for years to come!
