Our peninsular laboratory layout is ideal for a square-shaped classroom or spaces with limited room, where services like gas and electrics are in heavy demand. Peninsular benches allow for plumbing and electrical services to be easily concealed along the perimeter, whilst eliminating the need for floor trenching, ultimately saving costs.

As the peninsular layout provides a front of class teaching solution, it works well when interactive whiteboards are also incorporated in the classroom as a space efficient, distraction free, focal point.
Key features include:
- Creates a single circulation path in the centre of the room.
- Provides flexibility in sink position locations either, in the middle or end of a bench. Sink covers help to also optimise the workspace.
- Facilitates the mounting of gas and electric outlets on the front face of each bench, away from the work surface, ensuring they are tamper proof but easy to access.
- One of the biggest advantage of the peninsular system is that it accommodates large laboratory work surfaces for practical sessions.
- Plenty of scope to maximise storage, from bag stores, gratnell tray storage, cupboards to open fronted units.
- Front demonstration area, the perfect space to deliver practical and theory lessons, with integrated services.
- Flexibility for students to work in pairs and individually.
