As we completed our final week, we are proud to announce that Redbridge Colleges science lab is done – thanks to David Baguley and his team!
The now modern, future proofed laboratory is ready for students to start back in September.
Here’s what happened in the final week of the project:
Furniture Fit Out
On completion of the flooring, this week’s main focus was furniture delivery and installation, the continuation of first fix works through the furniture units.
As the electricians finish on site we are ready to start the next stage of the process.
Once the furniture was delivered and the carcass fitted, we brought back the decorators to give the room its final lick of paint. Once completed the floor gets cleaned, and then we laid the silicone down the panels to protect it, this minimises future water damage or liquids getting absorbed into the furniture, as it is the plastic that helps future proof it for years to come.
Of course, before the handover and last but not least was the clean up – Ready for the teachers and pupils of Redbridge to start their year!
Well, like every job it has its challenges that Innova dealt with head on. We were proactive, and made sure we meet our deadlines. As a team, we do what we need to do to get the job done and can say on behalf of the team we are thrilled with the end result.
